this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Not sure about Rudy being number one. Can't support any movie that glorifies Notre Dame....

For me it's not just the ND thing. What I don't get is, what is so special about a 28 year old getting in for 2-3 plays in a blowout game? So he dedicated his life to playing ND football and never gave up. Some people dedicate their lives to their families, or charity, or overcoming a disability. You know, worthwhile causes. The capper is that the real life Rudy defrauded investors in his company to the tune of $400,000. Very inspirational. sorry for the rant- just never got the allure of that film |
