We switched to zone blocking after Kromer left and Ingalls became the o-line coach, two seasons after Ingram became a Saint. So no, it has nothing to do with the RB that had the second most carries which was 50% of the RB with the most carries. That would be like changing the passing game for Kenny Stills. Zone blocking is about making a hole to run through, it has nothing to do with the RB running through the hole. Ingram has nothing to go with the zone blocking scheme, a hole is a hole. |
