3-5 on the road is "dismal"?

Re: The 2014 Saints Schedule: A Closer Look
i think the saints will bounce back. i hope last year was a fluke of sorts. we in previous years we have been really good on the road. at one point early on we could not win at home. this is the year we get it all back together both at home and on the road. beat philli and the sea hawks just escaped with a win, i think closing out the year like that did wonders for the psyche of the team.
best laid out plan is 5-0 going into the week 6 bye week. 3-0 on the road does not look that far fetched. none of them will be easy games but they are winnable. because after that we have one of the toughest schedule in the nfl in the final 13 weeks at least on paper. at detroit and at carolina should be great games. if we can get these two early into the final stretch run we should be looking sweet. Week 10: 11/9 (Sunday) San Francisco (12PM) Week 11: 11/16 (Sunday) Cincinnati (12 PM) Week 12: 11/24 (Monday) Baltimore (7:30PM) ***Prime Time*** brutal. win or lose all i can say is i hope we make it through these 3 games health. no major injuries please. at pit and chicago in the winter time? start cutting up the chickens now and pray for some nice weather for those two. |

Re: The 2014 Saints Schedule: A Closer Look
Saints have the 9th easiest schedule in the NFL and the 2nd easiest schedule in the NFC, according to the mostly meaningless SOS based on last years records.
NFL.com Photos - 2014 NFL strength of schedule I'd much prefer an adjusted strength of schedule based on "expected" strengths of opponents. A 3-13 team who was devastated by injuries to numerous key players shouldn't count the same as a team that was so bad they were considered lucky to finish 3-13. |

Re: The 2014 Saints Schedule: A Closer Look
We've out performed our schedule most years. Some schedules look tough but each game can be won or lost in the hot tub..........
If we stay healthy we've got the team to compete. |
