this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; AJ is a winner and a leader. He just has mediocre physical skills. AJ can become an Alex Smith type QB, with a little less running ability. Game manager, and probably a very good one. Haven't seen enough of Murray ...

AJ can become an Alex Smith type QB, with a little less running ability. Game manager, and probably a very good one. Haven't seen enough of Murray to compare his skillset to a current player. I've read he compares to Andy Dalton? |

If I happen to get too many beers in the first half I will probably not be back for the second half. It just depends. Also I've been working hard on my 34 handicap golf game so I won't have time for much practices with the team. Besides holding a clipboard doesn't require much practice. I take a 2 week vacation in September. That isn't negotiable. And the holidays of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends are out of the question so they will need a backup clipboard holder. With this knowledge I would say that I can hold the clipboard 1/3 of the season usually about 1/2 of the time per game. That sounds like 7th round to me. |
One thing I learned from drinking. You should always go Christmas caroling with a group. Oh, and always in mid-December.

I'm a fan. I'm a big fan. I think if Payton and Drew got their hands on this kid, he will be a successful quarterback down the road. I don't care to burn a pick on a quarterback either but if he's there at the right pick for us, I want him. |
