But they are not a team without issues.
After improving from the worst defense in the history of the league to an actually good unit, they shed several veterans early in the offseason. And they have some vacancies to fill on offense, though the combined acumen of Payton and Brees can help cover those a little longer. That leaves them with several questions to answer next week. Re: Our draft previews march on with a look at the Saints
If you were to believe all the articles and news items etc. on Champ Bailey, it looks like the Saints have made a bad move in picking him up.
Champs getting too old! . . . . . Champ has had a lot of injuries! etc. etc. Admittedly, I don't know a lot about CB but I would assume that the Coaches and Front Office would have put in a lot of work to check him out before bringing him to our team, so why all the negativity from the media about this player? Re: Our draft previews march on with a look at the Saints
It's the same thing the media did going into 2013 concerning our defense. They simply look at the previous year and project into this year without considering all the reasons thoroughly.
Wanna bet they'll be shocked when he plays well? |

He didn't take everything into account before making his decisions. Still, overall it worked for me.

Re: Our draft previews march on with a look at the Saints
Its the NFL blaming him for Peyton not having a ring last season.....a copout really. I don't think Denver fans would want to hear that the broncos do not play as motivated as the saints and I play fantasy with a broncos fan who is my main go-to for sharing sports related stuff and me as well. I could never tell him that though.
Denver has a "too good to lose" reputation basically. |
