Interesting that Jimmy, the Saints, and Sexton are somewhat just an audience as DeMaurice Smith tries to get reelected.

Exactly. This is all on the NFLPA and the league. Those of you calling for Graham's head are way off base. Graham is going to get basically the same compensation regardless of the outcome because he won't be playing under a franchise tag. I'll guarantee you he simply wants to play, but this whole thing was inevitable, much as was Brees' situation where the NFLPA tested the multiple tag under different franchises. The outcome of the arbitration will give either Graham's agent or Loomis a extra it of leverage, but a deal was going to be made regardless.

Do not take any of this personally. It is not that big of a deal.

The PA is probably propping Jimmy up so they can get the designations changed. They see him as the ideal poster boy for hybrid positions.

Also, let's not forget the pages and pages of threads condemning Brees when he went thru his negotiations
