In the First Round, Saints Pick Wide Reciever Brandin Cooks

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; We gave up our 3rd round pick to move up, but I think he's totally worth it. Great WR, hands, speed. He'll definitely upgrade our passing attack....

Re: Brandin Cooks

I like the pick. We needed to stretch the field and get better on punt and KO returns.

I'm sure Rob gets his choice in Rd 2.

Also wanted denard but I'm not unhappy over this pick. Stronger and tougher Austin.

Re: Brandin Cooks

Fraaaaack Drew better be able to hit em from 50 yards away.

Stills and Cooks, two 4.3ish WRs. Good luck keeping up.

I know we need a wr. But I wanted to go on the other side of the ball.

Beast. I love the pick. And giving up just a 3rd for this kid is a fantastic deal.

He's like Wes Welker but with 4.3 speed. How can anybody hate that?

Wow. We are gonna stretch the field now. LOVE this pick. Incredible route runner. Meet our new punt returner.

Re: Brandin Cooks

If he was 6'2 or 6'3, he would have been the first WR taken probably. Kid can play and, with Drew throwing him the ball, sky is the limit in terms of his production

Yep, and I'll tell ya what I am looking at him in his interview and the dude might be 5'10 but he is stout. Kid is not small at all. Steve Smith-ish... damn anything close to Smith's career would be unreal.

Morgan, Kenny, Cooks, Graham, and old reliable Colston...

Throw in Meach or Toon..
