So yeah what danno said, we always lay an egg somewhere, we were lucky in 09 that it didnt cost us HFA, if we have the playoff games in the dome, our odds at a superbowl are massively in our favour

We've certainly got the talent on both sides of the ball to go 16-0, but 16-0 requires some lucky bounces along the way too, and key injuries always play a role.

It wouldn't shock me, but its very unlikely.

We have 12 to 14 win talent.

Re: Am I crazy for seeing a 16-0 season ahead ?

The hardest opponents ( GB week 8; SF week 10) are both at home, which helps.

Last years schedule had all sorts of game that scared me in a weird way, like the Jets in NY ~ I Just knew we'd fizzle cos I despise the Jets organisation. The Pats game also looked bad.

This year, I am hard pressed to find a really ominous away game.

I wouldnt be stunned if we walked away with 14-2. Having said that, I suspect closer to 12 or 13, as that's how things work usually, dropping something stupid like week 15 in Chicago or week 7 at Detroit.

Home field in the playoffs all the way would be so sexy.

Robinson & Ingram ran through all 3 top defenses Last year ...

Armsteads year 2 will be much better ( was solid against Bennett in Seattle )

The only QB we play that even deserves to be on the same field as Brees is Rodgers who we get at home ...
IMO, the Saints blew their best, and probably only chance at a perfect season when in 2009 when they believed Ware wasn't going to play. If the Saints had won that game, their last 2 games were home against the Bucs & at the Panthers.

I am happy with the way the Saints ended that season, but finishing 18-0 would have been sweeter!

The Packers still OWN us, have for a while. I believe we will beat them handily, but then again I always think that... and we don't.

Cowboys a toss-up, as will be the Niners. Always is.

Bears play us hard regardless.

Thank GOD we don't play the Rams!

Then there are the usual Division suspects...

The Packers were lucky to beat us last time out. It came down to having a poor kicker.

If we cannot beat the Cowboys with the holes they have on defense we have a problem.

We will win 10-12 games. Remember the Rams. Bucs beat us last year if they don't self destruct, and they will be MUCH improved this year.
