Cleeveland is in desperate need of a solid, Offensive Star. The currnet Coach is undoubtedly on the chopping block,..And the next Coach will need a True..Impact player. But...Does he turn to Williams?..Would you?..I might..When this kid is up and focused..He's an unstoppable force, and an Offensive Juggernaught, And has the potential..Arguably,.. Above most of the guys in this League,..To take an otherwise weak offense..And make them shine Thats where I predict he will go... Drew Bress came out of nowhere this year to take the League by storm. Is He a '' One - Hit Wonder''?...I don't think so..however..I also don't think he will go somewhere else and put up the numbers has has this year..not right away anyhow. Arizona would be absolutley perfect for Brees...And, ..Brees would likely flourish under the watchful eyes of Dennis Green.(who just seems to have a way to make something great out of nothing) Arizona will HEAVILY pursue this kid..and will likely have the Recievers..Coaching staff..And Fat Contract to draw him in... I don't see the Saints going after Brees really(considering the large contract to Brooks..and the need to hire more coaches)...and we DAMN SURE don't want Williams... So..Are we left to the mercy of opposing Teams to release Veterans, who still have enough talent and desire to come in here, and help us win? |

Probably. This was one of those rare free agent (and other players demanding to be traded) years, with Terrel Owens, Javon Kerse, Shawn Springs, Keshawn Johnson, Hugh Douglas, Warren Sapp, Champ Bailey etc., etc., etc. I think we\'re stuck with the bums we got.

If Loomis is still in office after this season, he\'ll be fervently searching for a solid 4th receiver, a good backup center, or maybe even a respectable 3rd string caliber QB. :casstet:
But how could he get such impact players on the roster? More $$$, that\'s how! Anything less than a 3 year $5 Million deal isn\'t enough! :casstet: |

I think your should work on the offensive guards
pick up a third string Qb in the late rounds of the draft. Pick up homeboy from texas as a strong paymaker on defense to help stop the run. and i think we are good with corners b/c think about it with no pressure to the Qbs the quarterbacks have had enough time for the players to do there routes and do something else to mae the players come back for the ball we still need Dt\'s look for vetern players in FA b/c rookies cannot play soon enough as we need look at the past And for our first round pick if we could i would draft hearts for our players |

What\'s the news on Kingsbury?? Isn\'t he from Texas Tech?? As I remember it, he was a big kid with a cannon...

Don\'t quote me, dberce, but I think he\'s still on the practice squad. Haslett is still using 2 active QB\'s.

He is from Texas Tech, but does not have a cannon. He played in a dink and dunk offense with 4 and five wide every play. Living in Texas I watched him quite a bit in college. Most of his passes were of the 5-10 yard variety. He threw a lot of WR screens and his recievers made the plays. I just cant see him being any kind of QB at this level.

Fine with me if Dennis Green wants AB in Arizona, so long as the Cards are willing to take up that contract. Given the way the Cards franchise has historically nickel & dimed itself to death, I don\'t see them getting AB unless there\'s some sort of restructuring.
My other concern is what in the heck do the Cards have to offer in return? Maybe draft picks. Certianly not a QB - anyone real thrilled with the idea of Josh McCown or Shawn King? Anquan Boldin might be nice. I know we need to address the defense but I can\'t really think of many Cards players ... Karlos Dansby, perhaps? |

Why would you even care who your 3rd string QB is, or even your 2nd string QB, if it is obvious that AB would have to have his right arm ripped-off at the shoulder for him not to play on this team. Presently, we have a back-up QB that everyone seems to feel couldn\'t get the job done, yet, for some reason, he is there as a back-up. If we have a player who cannot perform his function on the team, why is he still here? |
Whether you think you can or think you can't...you're right!
