Saints are expected to sign former Mr. Irrelevant Cheta Ozougwu
The New Orleans Saints are about to sign the 2011 Mr. Irrelevant. He was the final pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans. On August 15, 2011 he made his first appearance in an NFL preseason game against the New York Jets on Monday Night Football.
After a short stint with the Texans Ozougwu signed with the Chicago Bears. He played last year registering a sack and was released on April 14th of this year. Mike Triplett @MikeTriplett OLB Cheta Ozougwu, set to sign with #Saints, was NFL draft‘s “Mr. Irrelevant” in 2011 when he was drafted by #Texans with last pick.
