Re: What are your Top 10 Favorite All Time Saints?

1. Deuce McCallister - #1, even with him being an Ole Piss alum
2. Hokie Gajun - pretended I was him when I played running back in our back yard football games.
3. Pat Swilling - rushing off the edge on obvious passing downs was simply awesome to watch.
4. Morten Andersen - the Saints would have scored faaaaar less points without this man in the Lean Years of Carl Smith's Rule of Offensive Ineptitude.
5. Fred McAfee - the long shot late round draft pick from the Mississippi College Choctaws. Can we resign him for special teams coverage? Or at least the coordinator for special teams?
6. Willie Roaf - one of the best ever. Period.
7. Eric Martin - late round pick who ended up setting all kinds of Saints receiving records. I used to pretend to be Eric Martin when I played receiver in the aforementioned back yard football games as a youngun
8. Colston - Same as Martin as they both did the same things...late round pick who ended up setting all kinds of Saints receiving records. I am now too old to pretend to be Colston in a back yard football game.
9. Ricky Jackson - a mean man and I actually felt sorry for the QBs and RBs he destroyed. Oh, except for the 49ers and Falcons and Rams and Cowboys and Vikings QBs and RBs, of course.
10. Thomas Morstead - man-crush on this dude since he was drafted in the 5th (FIFTH) round as a punter. It takes a Man's Man to walk around camp as a 5th round draft pick Punter, though he hasn't done much since except kick a recovered onside kick as a rookie in the Super Bowl and make a Pro Bowl and be the best special teams tackler for some very lousy coverage schemes.

Let's see the total: 1 Punter, 1 Kicker, 1 Offensive Tackle, 2 Linebackers, 2 Receivers, 3 Running Backs. I'm obviously biased with the early 80's-early 90's Saints teams as those are the ones I fell in love with...you never forget your first love (awww...).

Great list. Glad to see Hokie on a favorites list, I know he's one of mine.

Old enough? Yeah, I used to play in the woods where the Saints first training facility was built.
