It's Roaf in my opinion. Roaf is probably top 5 LT of all time. Brees isn't even top 20 QB of all time... yet

So if you had a choice of having brees or roaf on the team, you'd choose roaf? Ok...

No because QB is the most important position on the team. If I could make up a team of all time greats, Roaf would rank higher at LT than Brees would at QB.

I agree with you that Roaf likely ranks higher on the LT list than Brees does the QB list, but the fact that there are some positions are more important than others, I think that means you can take somebody lower on the more important list (in this case, Brees) and still say he's better than somebody that is higher on the less important list (Roaf).

If we're not taking any position bias into the equation though, I'm taking Morten Andersen over Roaf for the greatest Saint of all time. Andersen is probably the best kicker in NFL history.
