No because QB is the most important position on the team. If I could make up a team of all time greats, Roaf would rank higher at LT than Brees would at QB.

The year after Brees retires we can go back to being happy with telling players on the team that just beat the hell out of us "You may have won, but you'll feel it in the morning"

Oh! Those were the days!!! Returning to being the laughing stock of the NFL but the "other" team was sore!!! We can "What If" and once again "Trust In Spags" till the next coming of Brees is drafted.

I agree with you that Roaf likely ranks higher on the LT list than Brees does the QB list, but the fact that there are some positions are more important than others, I think that means you can take somebody lower on the more important list (in this case, Brees) and still say he's better than somebody that is higher on the less important list (Roaf).


If we're not taking any position bias into the equation though, I'm taking Morten Andersen over Roaf for the greatest Saint of all time. Andersen is probably the best kicker in NFL history.
