Re: Agent's Take: Examining the Jimmy Graham grievance, possible scenarios
I'm so tired of this bull with Graham...U know u r not a wide receiver...U even was elected to the Pro Bowl as a Tight End... The Saints were willing to make u the highest paid tight end which u rightfully deserved... I don't know if Graham is taking this approach himself or listening to his agent or what but it needs to come to an end... Like I've stated before, we won a ring without him, even though it would be very nice to have him for this run, we've shown we can do it without him... And now with the pieces we've added I feel this team is just as good if not better than the '09 team... So if he can't get his mind right, Mickey should go ahead and pull the trigger for a trade and take a 1st and two 3s ... We wouldn't have the burden of his contract and we can sign a Jermicheal Finley if he is physically fit...

Jimmy be smart and sign a contract that pays you handsomely but remember that you need to have a team around you. Lets get down to brass tax and get it done. We need you to win another Super Bowl.

I wish they'd hurry and get a deal done so I can get the vomit out of my mouth every time I hear the name Jimmy Graham with the attached designator of "WR". It literally makes me sick.

Crap, let the man go. If we can get two rd 1's and free up 7 million I am all for it. I think he is a beast and will be for years to come but WR money we can not pay.

Re: Agent's Take: Examining the Jimmy Graham grievance, possible scenarios
i still fear Jimmy has reached the point in his career as a tall TE were injuries will now will be a yearly deal much like Colston. The rule changes have effect the tall and some what fast WR and TE to a point were their shelf life is not that long. these tall guys need speed to avoid this issue. jimmy aint got that so a pounding he will get. i fear for his knees. look around the NFL and it is there for all to see. these rule changes are killing these guys.
The crap about hitting a defensively receiver is not working. that alone ticks all, well most educated fans fans off. let them play ball and the players like Jimmy will have a longer life on the field. Besides the players turned down health insurance for life at the last CBA so they do not care any ways. if you sign the kid look at the window of super bowl time frame and be honest. by that point he will be by all odds damage goods. good for a handful of games a year all timed for the championship push. so buyer be ware |
