Yeah, haha! Haslett\'s setting the table for the next regime. What a thoughtful guy he is. However, while I\'m never at a loss to blame him it sure would have been nice if the Saints offense could have gotten a first down or two when they stopped Atlanta with the fumble recovery. Three and out and they only burned a minute off the clock.

I didn\'t think Atlanta was much better than the Saints. But it\'s always too little too late. They come out too flat, make mistakes... especially the o line being offsides on key plays... and when the chips are down, they don\'t have enough gas to make up for the mistakes made.

I agree, it\'s only a matter of time now guys with a losing season almost definitely on the horizon I see ticket sales dropping if Haz and crew continue and this is about money so I really agree with you on this.

I dont Care what people say the saints came out to play today they didnt gfet tha win but key things here are.....

Brooks had a decent game with really one interception which we donno is it b/c of a miss communication from joe horn and the other one was at the end of the game there was nothing else he could have done.

Th o line came out and played keeping brooks away from kerney and other D-Line mens. think they did decent pass blocking. and there run blockin was terrific.

by this duece was able to produce a hundred yards against the 4th best running defense i see progress..

the defense showing better this game then other games.even tho they came out and played soft to be down by 14 early but look after that only given up 10 points holding vick in control.

Will Smith Came out Faboulous keeping Vick on the run i know vick still got away but he was big on stopping the run and keeping the pressure on Vick howard came to play as well as the rest of the D-Line.

We are still week in the Linebacker Position giving up Screens and flat routes and across the middle allen stepped up when hodge went out by stripping dunn when they were in the 5..

the defensive backs came out and did there job by not allowing any falcon wide reciever over a hundred yards and by not letting the big play to them they tried deep twice or three times and they stopped them. now to me i think the linebackers should have covered alge but as we seen it wasnt working so i thought they should have assigned a safty to cover him. and mel mitchelll did a good job stepping in for tebucky...

Special teams did good against russom and his threats stallworth not making any bad decsions of not fair cathching the bal however we need lewis for kick returns for better field postion.

Horn had a big day asusal he has been a pro bowl type reicever all day and even tho stallworth has not had alot of rec. he has helped by that third down conversation and his blocking on run plays.

Offense Mvp:Horn

Defensive MVp: Smith

We have the Ability to win out With not any one hard. if we play like we did in the 2nd to fourth quarter we can with only Carolina twice Tampa dallas and Altanta again which wee see we can beat this time we are at home if your a saint fan show up we need the crowd noise dont give up on your team

DieV3rse, I agree with almost everything you said. Brooks, for the third week in a row, gave the commentators something to talk about with his beautiful int to Rossum. Stallworth choked again in clutch time.
Joe Horn deserves the Off MVP.
Either Grant or Smith could take the Defensive MVP.
Our punter booted some punts today.

Hats off to the rookies....The two sacks the Saints recorded were by Will Smith and Colby Bockwoldt. Tis not a sin when the rookies are outplaying veterans, but it\'s a crying shame.

Exactly. First quarter numbers are sick. 81-0 in the last 9 games I think. That is just disgusting. At 4-7 I still say the worst thing that could happen would be for the Saints to go 7-9. 7-9 gives us the 15th pick instead of the 6th - it may even allow JH to stay with Venturi or McCarthy being fired. That\'s scary. C\'mon tank job - let\'s do what we do best boys - tank.
