I think that this is the best game the defense has played all season. This isn't saying much, but, besides Atl's final TD drive, they impressed me(I wasn't drunk either). Stallworth dropped a crucial catch at the end of the game again. And, does anyone how Brooks underthrew Horn so bad for his first int of the game. Horn was wide open.

Yeah, that last drive was awful. But with the offense KNOWING the D is awful, it was on them to get that 1st down after the fumble recovery. I mean, having our defense on the field at the end of a close game is like leaving a bad child in the room alone with his little sisters: someone\'s gonna be cryin\', someone\'s gonna be on the ground, and everyone\'s gonna claim they don\'t know what happened.

Dropped - yeah. But it\'s not like the throw was on the money. If he catches that pass, it\'s highlight reel. Most receivers drop that pass more often than they catch it... IMO.

There seems to be a pattern of lack of concentration at the end of quarters and halves. They gave up 10 points in the last two minutes of each half yesterday and that was the entire ballgame.
It\'s also reprehensible to watch one team hustle on every down like they\'re mother\'s lives were on the line while the other was waiting for someone else to make the play. They only seemed to try when they thought they might have a chance to win. Except for Joe Horn and Charles Grant. They appeared to show up. |
