Thomas said he was close enough to leaving the Saints that "I was talking to other teams."
Scary to hear! Thomas thought last season Mark Ingram and Khiry Robinson did enough late in the season to make him expendable. "They showed what they could do in the playoffs against Seattle," Thomas said. "They showed that these guys can be here and take control and lead this team in the right direction.
