Haslett fired up??
Sounds like Haslett did some a$$ chewing at the half:
ONE FATAL MISTAKE Saints rally, but Vick is given too much time at end Monday, November 29, 2004 By Jeff Duncan Staff writer ATLANTA -- Jim Haslett might be standing on his last legs as Saints head coach, but the fiery ex-linebacker isn't going down without a fight. Incensed by his team's performance during yet another lethargic first half, an intense and emotional Haslett on Sunday delivered what some players and team officials dubbed the best halftime speech of his career as his team faced a double-digit deficit on the road to the archrival Atlanta Falcons. He lit into the players about their lack of focus, challenged their professionalism and threatened to bench anyone he felt didn't give 100 percent in the second half. http://www.nola.com/saints/t-p/index...1322258880.xml |

If this thread was titled simply \"Haslett Fired\" without the up, it would be the best one ever posted.

Haslett fired up??
There\'s that \"no nonsense\" approach Haslett was taking in preseason camp again. It just keeps popping up everywhere. Once in preseason and once at halftime of the game that is going to break the camel\'s back. Nice to see the \"tough love\" from Jim... PS - you\'re about 3 years too late Jimmy. Buh.... bye.

Haslett fired up??
I have given this issue a lot of thought since last year. If I were Benson I would bring back Randy and let him make every decision when it comes to players and coaches. With that said, I would be ok with Hasslet staying on and canning everyone below him. I just can\'t get excited about the other options out there about a new Coach. Saban is a no show, he won\'t go to New Orleans I don\'t care what you offer him.
