Poll-style question, but no poll: returner
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'd like to see Morgan return kicks if he makes the team and Cadet or Cooks on punt returns....

Speed. Put the FASTEST guy we got, back there on kicks. This team looked REALLY old and slow last year.
And somebody -- anybody -- PLEASE try and block, make a wedge, join hands, form a wall, I dunno: just TRY and set something up on the return, DO SOMETHING, okay guys? I grew so tired of seeing Courtney Roby run out the end zone and smack himself into a wall of his own people at the 18 yard line. Every single kickoff was an exercise in futility. |

As far as I know we don't have a true returner on kick offs on the roster right now. Most runs fielded in goal barely get to the twenty. From what I've read Cooks isn't necessarily that good at it.
What we need is a good punt returner. |
