We can't afford the man. It's that simple.

Great point, and oddly enough NOT one of the confusing poll options.:p

He's also a zone CB who struggles in man and press.

Did someone say Houston got released from Detroit?

I read last month that he graded out as the 97th CB in the league. If he was any good, he'd still be a Chief. Pass.

I agree with this. Detroit would be an ideal landing spot for Flowers. And the Lions released Houston because he couldn't cut it anymore at CB.

As far as the Saints, I think Rob Ryan is going to play press coverage most of the time, and I don't think Flowers is press man corner (he is better in zone or off-man). So I don't think we could make use of his services.

Yeah, even though I voted, "the more, the merrier" when I look at the Saints secondary, there's a group of guys that'll get the job done ... Wk #7 is gonna' come down to "whom can cover whom" & the Lions come up a bit short in that matchup, IMO. Having cap-issues of their own to contend with has prevented them from addressing their secondary woes up to this point. Woulda' like to have seen them make a play for Bailey or someone of that caliber, they definitely need some help at CB.

Flowers was atrocious last season and he's only 28 years old. That's a huge red flag for me especially with the salary he's likely to command. His skill set doesn't really fit here imo. Somewhere like Tampa would be an ideal landing spot for him.

I am more than comfortable with what we have. I want P-Rob to lockdown that #2 spot. I looking forward into seeing what Ryan can mold P-Rob in to.

Flowers has bloomed already... and is wilting at the stem. Pass, especially since the Chiefs passed on him.

Flowers is a cover corner, and a good one. He was under a new system last year that was not suited to his abilites, as he is not a press corner.

Flowers will go to a team where his skills will be used, and that being said it will not be the Saints, first for Cap reasons and second Rob Ryan demands versatilty from his DB's which seems to be a problem for Flowers.
