Keenan Lewis has nickname for New Orleans Saints first-round pick Brandin Cooks

"I called him 'lightning,'" Lewis said Friday. "A (defensive back) might be in his back pocket and the next thing you know he's 50, 60 yards down the field."

That's pretty much what happened on one play during an OTA practice Thursday.

Cooks took a handoff on a reverse around the left end and raced down the sideline. With Lewis giving chase, Cooks appeared to pull up for a few strides to playfully let his pursuer near him. Then Cooks sprinted away from Lewis and to the end zone.

I don't know. Lightning just doesn't roll off your tongue. Something like Bolt sounds catchier, cooler.
