IF Sproles (or any running back) lined up in a receivers position (slot or wide) more than in the backfield and IF he were being franchised as a RB, you can bet dollars to donuts he'd appeal a RB designation, it's a difference of 2.5 million a year. That's a heck of a negotiating position. He'd be crazy if he didn't.
