this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I am happy for him. His first love will always be the Saints. You can't blame a guy for playing for the team that gives him a shot or the best deal. Its nothing personal. That's why I was mortified ...

That's why I was mortified when some of our fans booed Morton Anderson. |

Re: Falcons Sign Courtney Roby
Dude's gotta have a job and it's not like he left the Saints in bad blood or something. I honestly always thought he had a little more to give as a wide receiver than we really ever gave him the chance to show. Always looked good out there. Fine player, best of luck to him.

Good for Roby. I always liked the guy. He was scrappy and feisty, and he fought his way onto the field, by basically doing pretty much anything the coaches asked him to do, to make it onto a roster in the NFL.
Oh, and don't sweat it, McMahon's not going anywhere. Not anytime soon. |

Would have liked to have seen him go to any other team, but yeah it's a business and you go where there is a job.

Re: Falcons Sign Courtney Roby
Always liked having him on our special teams. Glad he got on, sucks that it is with the Falcons but hey he might get some TV time on Hard Knocks.
