Over his past five seasons as the head man in New Orleans, Payton’s offenses have called pass five percentage points above expected four times. With Drew Brees under center, that should hardly be a surprise. The Saints are usually competitive, which allows them to run in the second half, but Payton’s reliance on Brees has led to plenty of seasons among the league leaders in pass attempts. Y! SPORTS |
