The fans leash will be even shorter next year

If Haslett and Brooks thought the fans were bad for the last game of 2002 they better be prepared for more abuse next year and much earlier if their own personal attitudes and actions continue.

It will only take one or two arrogant comments by Brooks in training camp or a sentence of excuses from Haslett to set this fan base off again. It could even happen before pre-season is over. These two guys have used up their free passes.

The saints fans can be the best around, but if you are on their wrong side all the millions are not worth it.
