this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I really hate that we traded our 2nd rd pick to Green Bay for McKenzie. I think we could've recieved a better CB with that pick in the draft. Looking on the bright side Derrick Johnson look like Great Possibility ...

Tampa, Washington, and KC won today so we may be moving closer to the top 5.

I dont know how the tie breakers are determined in the draft, but there are 7 teams with 4 wins(including dallas who plays tommorrow.) Only 3 teams have worse records (San fran, cleveland, and Miami.) Im assuming New Orleans holds the tie breaker with arizona, because they beat us. We beat Oakland and Kansas city so they would be before us at this point Im assuming. So that leaves San Fran, Miami, Cleveland, Kansas city, Oakland, New Orleans, Tennessee, Dallas, Washington, and Arizona not in that order.

In the draft, tiebreakers are decided by strength of schedule. That\'s how Cleveland got to pick before someone they were tied with last year.

I was at the game, and whodi, your wish is granted. If we play half that bad the remainder of the season, we have no hope of winning another game. We suck...

The only scary thing is our history of crappy decisions on draft day.

Mutey, I wanted losses, but this is ridiculous. Even our good players are looking like crap now, and that I did not expect.
subguy, you are right. with Loomis on at GM, there is definitely no sure thing for us even if Johnson is on the board when we draft. It is frightening. Hopefully if Benson goes after a real coach like Saban or Crennel, they will tell him to screw off unless Loomis moves to another position. |
