2014 Saints Training Camp

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Looking forward to seeing Cooks justify the move to get him, but do we have to overreach on the adjectives?!? I mean "spectacular catch" ? C'mon...just let it build on its own......

Re: 2014 Saints Training Camp

Overall, its kinda sad but the first practice there was only about 300ish fans there, about a 5th from New Orleans it seems. Second practice even less, maybe 150. The players were nice, friendly, taking time to sign for people and pictures. Today I am going to a "Picnic with the Saints", where we get to grab autos and pictures, and have hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon, cookies, and drinks for $10

Hi ZachS52,
Would love to see some of those snapshots. Please upload and share with us if you can. I have yet to see any coverage on NFLN.

He did play safety in college so I'm sure he could cover kicks or return em. Gotta love Brandon Coleman's size but does he have good enough hands to be an NFL possession receiver? Toon is probably better than either of these guys. I'm pulling for Ryan Griffin but not overly interested. Stanley Jean Baptiste better be good because Jarvis Landry was on the board when we picked him.
I guess because PT23 hasnt been with the team drills much, Flanders has been rotating in quite a lot with the 1st teamers. Looking good, looking fast. If he doesnt end up with us, he will make a team.

To be honest, its hard to watch the later players play due to the dimensions of the way it is set up. We have up close look at 1st and 2nd teamers, but the guys later down on the DC its harder to get looks at.

Re: 2014 Saints Training Camp

Hearing that Flanders is looking good is awesome news. I guess my mindset is that they can't land another good UFA back. I am not big on Cadet so if he takes his spot I'm cool with that but could he seriously pass up Robinson, Ingram or Thomas? And are they in full pads yet because lots of guys can shine in limited contact drills?

I dont think he could pass up Khiry, Ingram, nor Thomas. Havent we before carried 5 RBs on the 53 man? Cadet has been running with 1st team KO and punt teams, so he is hoping for that at least.

Friday I noticed after an hour or so each they stopped and did stretches again, and another time did wind sprints to stay loose.

Thank you! I am very blessed to get all of these. I dont know how TCs are in NOLA or how it was in Oxnard, but overall I am like a kid in a candy store. Loving it.
