Top 10 Reasons I'm glad we open the Year with the Rams
1. Sets the tone physically for the rest of the Season , balls to the wall gate up
2. We will find out quickly how prepared Armstead & Lieto ( I'm so not spelling that right ) are against the Rams Nasty Front. 3. We exterminate the " on the fence players " quickly by going against their tremendous defense. It won't take multiple games for coaches to decide if these guys can contribute to the team , they'll know after a series or two if they're really " BOUT THAT LIFE ". Sink or swim 4. Sean Peyton will have a blueprint on how to maximize on cooks by watching what the Rams do with Tavon Austin. Not a bad guy to learn from ( Virtually the same guy ) 5. If we can establish the run at will on the rams , that's a huge superbowl indicator. Just saying. 6. Even though is pre season it's time we layed the wood to them for once. 7. We get a sample of how we will perform in " trap games " this season. 8. We get a peak at how a great defense will try and defend us. Which means by season time Sean Payton will have this unit virtually unstoppable. 9. Nick Toon vs Brandon Coleman : We're playing the rams defense which means we will see few 3rd and longs. We'll also see two physical beasts go at it for their roster spot. Not a bad defense to play against to find out who your reliable pass catchers are. 10. This officially means football is back !! |

11. Payton, Brees, and other members of the organization "still mad" about Gregg Williams and his contributions to the Bountygate scandal, as well as his cowardly disappearance from the country during the heat of the investigation, can give him the evil eye from across the field!
