New Orleans Saints try to set 'tone' in chippy practice; Cam Jordan OK after brief trip to sidelines
White Sulphur Springs, W. Va. -- Two small scraps punctuated the New Orleans Saints' practice session at the Greenbrier resort on Thursday, after defensive end Cam Jordan said there was a conscious effort to set a physical "tone" after an off day.
"Today was about being more physical," he said. "You call it nasty; I call it setting the tone." Jordan was involved in one of the mini-scuffles, this one against rookie offensive tackle Tavon Rooks. "He was wearing a white jersey and happened to get in my way," Jordan said matter-of-factly. The other tussle was between linebacker Curtis Lofton and running back Khiry Robinson.
