gotta root for Cowboys, just this week ...

Being a big Pantera fan, today's news of Dimebag Darrell being murdered in Ohio really has made it hard to concentrate on much else today. For those of you not familiar with Dimebag, he was an amazing metal guitar player who grew up in Dallas and formed Pantera w/ his brother Vinnie playing drums and recently formed a new band Damageplan. For those of us who are metalheads, this is tough to swallow, like Lennon being murdered. He had such a fun-loving and creative guitar style.

Darrell and Paul have proclaimed so many times over the years that they are absolute diehard Cowboys fans. They named their first big album 'Cowboys From Hell' as a nod to their hometown team. So I find it hard to root for my beloved Saints this week with Vinnie and Dime's family in my thoughts. This week it's all about Dime. It would be great if the Cowboys could pay a moment silence to Dime before kickoff.

Sorry Saints this is a special exception. R.I.P. Dime, go Cowboys (from Hell)

Dimebag was shot at 10:20pm, the same time as John Lennon, exactly 24 years later, same nite, same minute...
