this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I didnt get to see the game, so I have to ask.....was Coleman really tbat bad? I read that he was slow with his progress during OTAs, but seemed to catch on during camp.Do yall think hes worth holding on ...

I would rather a guy like Andy Tanner who has shown he has the heart and work ethic to be an NFL player. I get that Coleman is 6'6" and a HUGE target for Brees, but I don't think Brees would trust him in a real game scenario. I also think Toon might be on the outs. He had his chance last season and dropped some crucial balls and then in this game he caught passes but then he would go down on the first hit. Missed 2 1st downs because he couldn't move the ball up the field.
