ST. LOUIS — The confidence is what stood out most to Zach Strief.

It wasn’t like this last year. Ryan Griffin had some talent, but he didn’t lead a huddle quite like this, or stand up in the face of pressure quite like that. He had moments, but they were sustained like they were during the New Orleans Saints 26-24 victory over the St. Louis Rams Friday night at the Edward Jones Dome.

“Ryan has turned into that quickly,” offensive lineman Zach Strief said. “Obviously just his second year, kind of a sponge. He’s absorbed a lot of information. He did a really good job of getting us in the right place tonight.”

Griffin was making some pin point throws and controlled the O well, he needs to keep it up.

Griffins passes look like they were shot out of a gun. He's got a good release.

McCown looked like he was completely reactionary back there. I'll admit the o-line wasn't the best its been but still, he seemed to have that "Deer in headlights" look (also known as the Matt Ryan look glaze over).

I thought Griffin looked like he had a better command of things. He made a couple mistakes but all in all had a pretty good game.

I was only able to listen to it but I didn't think Griffin did a terrible job. Although at the bottom of the article some doofus is complaining about N.O. sports news being in the BR newspaper.

Bill Paxton · Top Commenter · Baton Rouge Community College
"This is front page news? Seriously? WHO CARES?!! There are wars in Iraq, Israel, and close to one in the Ukraine and the Baton rouge newspaper is talking about a New Orleans sports team? Even if there wasn't all of these world events in the news, I don't care about the Saints. This is NOT New Orleans! Stop trying to YAT up Baton Rouge!!!"

Guy is a moron, its sports news, its in the same state, and people in BR are interested in it. Those other things are more important sure, but c'mon, can't we have more than one interest?

“The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government - lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.” ― Patrick Henry

I'm not sure "stuff" is the word I'd use to describe what McCown was showing us.
