Brandin Cooks ends camp at Greenbrier on high note | 5 things that stood out from New Orleans Saints' practice Wednesday
As if he needed any more practice highlights, rookie wide receiver Brandin Cooks added a few more.
Cooks caught two long passes -- one from Logan Kilgore and another from Luke McCown -- in the final moments of Wednesday morning's practice. The latter was most impressive because it came against solid coverage. Cooks snagged the ball at its highest point and was rewarded with a touchdown of about 50 yards. Holy smokes. I haven't been this excited about a rookie since Reggie Bush. It's hard to temper my enthusiasm when all I read about this guy is anywhere between "great" and "astonishing."

That one move where he catches then darts in the opposite direction, very deceptive and effective. Even if you know it's coming still hard to defend against. The defender has to stop in his tracks or risk getting completely beat. Either way, he will get YAC.

If it's as easy for the other teams to forget the rest of our receiving corps as it is for these sports "writers" then Drew's going to have an amazing year!
