Sunseri looked great. He's a white Kenny Vaccarro. They are similar size, speed and playing style. He is quite possibly a future starter.

I thought he looked more like Scott Fujita.

And yes, he is a straight up baller.

I'm the biggest LSU homer on this board. Before the draft I worked out how we could realistically pick an LSU player with every pick except the first one(no em made sense there.) By the way my board would have us with Cooks, Jarvis Landry, Ego Ferguson and I don't remember the rest but would anyone else like Landry over Baptiste? He was there. Anyway I loved Roman Harper, was thrilled to get Ingram and am on the Sunseri bandwagon big-time. Tiger fans know better than anyone that Bama has good players. Once they graduate we can consider pulling for them. Can't ignore that lately Alabama RBs underperform huh?

Nope; we needed a tall physical corner to help defend all the height in the division now

One of Baptistes knocks has been he's not physical or aggressive. Not sure you can learn that either. Either you're aggressive or you're not. I agree we need a 2nd corner more than a WR but Labdry can return too plus I am doubtful Baptiste ever starts in the NFL.

I assume this is a joke. Sunseri and Vaccarro are very close in height, weight, build, 40 time and both are hard hitters as well as playing the same position. Fujita is 6"5, much slower and an OLB so if you're serious I am surprised.

Eddie Lacy has been outstanding in Green Bay (they run a ZBS) and Ingram has looked great over the last 10 or so games.

That basically leaves Trent Richardson, who is the only 1 of the big 3 not running behind the familiar ZBS.

Was really happy for the kid and his game against the Titans, even though I wasn't a big fan of his selection...

But it was the Titans, and they will be awful...

Looking forward to seeing him against better talent the next two weeks with the Colts, then Ravens...

Will get slapped with the hater tag, but he's slow...

Understand he may have a good football mind, but we call those people 'coaches"...

But if he outplays Marcus Ball, so be it...

But until this game, Pierre Warren has looked better than both and I'd rather have three free safeties, especially with Jarius Byrd's health past...

Really hoping Marcus Ball counters in this race and they both make it a real decision...

I see us carrying five (5) safeties, ranking them...

Kenny Vaccaro (this kid could be turning into an All-Pro)
Jarius Byrd (man up and stay out of the training room)
Raphael Bush (he's really turning it on and showed we kept two nitwits for too long)
Pierre Warren (quietest, biggest surprise in camp)
Vinnie Sunseri (one game, tempered expectations)
Marcus Ball (has the physical tools to be as good as any of them, maybe he should cut his hair to start)
Ty Zimmerman (had high hopes for him to surprise, opportunity?!?)

He ran a 4.48 40, which is faster than Byrd, Vaccaro, Ball and Bush.

Vinnie Sunseri's knee rehab as speedy as Adrian Peterson's - NFL.com

In fact, he's our fastest safety on the roster according to 40 yard times, which he ran 6 months after ACL surgery.

Sunseri - reminded me of Paulamalu - Not Vaccaro at all. Very athletic and nose for the ball - instincts through the roof. Love to see him on special teams and rotating into a 3 Safety D they have been talking about.
