3.Best available Cb,S, and Dt(only if a steal)

I don\'t think Rolle is best corner in 05 draft. Marlin IMHOP is the best corner, so if Derrick Johnson & Ahmed Brooks are not on the board my fingers are cross for Marlin Jackson

Sorry to disagree bayou, but no way is Marlin as good as Rolle. Some boards have him falling into the latter first round. He will be good, and if we are picking in the teens, Jackson will be a good pick.

If Derrick Johnson & Ahmed Brooks are off the board I will trade down *if possible* and draft Marlin. This situation remind me of Trufant & Newman, who do you think is better now? Just a reminder Marlin just came back from switching from safety and didn\'t miss a beat playing corner this year. Rolle is a good corner, but mark my words Marlin is better.

The situation is very reminiscent of Trufant and Newman, but they were rated about even. Rolle is rated ahead of Jackson and is even said to have the potential to be number one overall. Believe me, I am not knockign Jackson cause he will be a star also. But if Johnson or Beooks are gone, I agree with trading down to get him if it looks like he will be available later. If we could pick up an extra second or a first for next year like Dallas did, I will be happy. Can\'t see us winning anyway if Haz stays, might as well stockpile for when we do get rid of him.

You\'re absolutely right. Loomis and company pass on Trufant, plus since he been GM he haven\'t drafted corner.

I guess that is how he is capable to manage Benson pennies

I love the idea of getting Wilkerson in the 2nd. I don\'t know if he\'ll be there, but that would be AWESOME for 2 reasons: 1. We get Wilkerson who could step right in and be as solid at Center that any other Saints Center in history. 2. They could move LeCharles back to OG, where is a perrenial pro-bowler for years. I\'d love Derrick Johnson in the 1st, Wilkerson in the 2nd, and best available CB or S in the 3rd.

Also, here are some of the F.A. I hope they look at:

Julian Peterson OLB
Kevin Mathis CB (saavy veteran with tons of heart and leadership quialities)
Edgerton Hartwell LB (New HC Mike Nolan brings him with for the 3-4.)
Pat Williams DT (Mammoth veteran DT, great team leader.)

We had Mathis once. Thsi organization is not good at admitting mistakes and bringing back players or people they already let get away.
