5 New Orleans Saints who hurt their cause to make the roster

While we are throwing out frustrating names, #60 Thomas Welch did not look like anything much at tackle last night. Got burned several times, on one play he got thrown to the ground like a rag doll, another he was easily pushed out of the way by the defender (useless), and he whiffed on a special teams punt tackle that resulted in a big return for the Ravens. Ugh. Don't know what the TV commentators said, but I was keying in on him in the stands when the game got boring, and he was a biiiiiig part of the problem with RGIV and the endless three-and-outs. Ugh. It was ugly.

He's a 2 or 3 year project with a pretty good upside so its hard to complain about burning a late 6th on him.

Not too hard for me, Danno. We whiffed in the 6th. We should've taken an ILB or BPA instead of taking a flier on an unknown.
