The 'official' back from the grave bandwagon thread
By now we are all seemingly focused on next years draft.
But there is a fly in the ointment........ Thanks to some intrepid tiebreaking investigations, I have figured out a way for the Saints to regain control of their own destiny by the end of this weekend. Mercifully, we do not need to nuke any other football markets to claim our destiny. Here are the results that give us the reins....... 1. Falcons win on Saturday (PrimeTime Vick) 2. Seattle wins on Sunday (Chad 'limp' Peniston) 3. Arizona beats St.louis ( 6 picks McChandler at helm) 4. Lions lose to Minnesota ............ This would put us in the drivers seat, needing nothing else other than a 4 game win-streak!!! Should be a breeze, look at all the character we must have picked up after all those whippin's. So let's all collectively cross our fingers that the football gods will smile on us, they have smote us for so long, that to be gifted a miracle seems oddly appropriate. I believe this is called being a 'Sunshiner', no ? |

Nothing wrong with a little Christmas optimism -- no matter how blind it is. Who knows -- maybe Saints are due -- maybe the hornets are taking all of the saints bad luck -- (do they have any starters left or is the whole team comprised of 10 day contract players)
In any case --- might as well cheer the Saints and look for a glimmer of hope than be a doom sayer :exclam: |

Honestly, at this point, I\'d like to see it. This team is so infuriating, and with Haslett coming back, who cares? I want to see the Saints win 4 straight and end up in the playoffs, beat Minnesota in the first round, and then travel to Philly - LOL. Philly 48, Saints 13.
