Months ago I booked a party as a favor on a day we aren't normally open. I also am doing it dirt cheap. Wouldn't you know it I went and pulled next weeks work and the party is THIS SUNDAY! From 12-2 no less! I live my whole entire life for week 1 of the NFL season and this year they are playing the Falcons to boot!
And to add insult to injury the client called and asked if I could go down on price!
I am turning off all social media, my phone, my radio, and am going to do everything short of putting in earplugs as I walk to my car. I will be watching on DVR.

Went and saw the monty python play a few years back

Dvr loaded, ready to drive home with no knowledge and some idiot thinks he is doing us all a favor by blurting out the score from his cell phone as we leave the Saenger theatre

Worse yet it was a last second loss

Saw thread title, assumed it would be butthurt rage over Nick Toon making the team. Was pleasantly surprised, although I feel for you.

Dude - that really sucks. Especially you doing it on the cheap and the client wanting it cheaper. Dont suppose that's a reason to cancel on him....?

Good luck with that Dude. I can't tell you how many times I have to watch later on DVR and I'll manage to go the whole day without as much as a snipit of info on the game but it never fails as I finally get to watch I'll hear something or accidentally see a score and it just ruins it. Oh well. It still doesn't stop me from watching. :bng:
