is this the same guy that every one jumped on the first two games. one so so game in indi and a alright showing in game 4?

i will wait and see. if he is forced to start outside this year things may go south real quick

Well... 1st test comes against the dirty birds and is in 6 days and counting. Training camp and the pre season are OVER.

No excuses for PRob. That #2 CB spot isn't cemented in stone.

The only real knock on him, as it was with his twin brother Brandon (a 6th round draft pick back in May with the Jets; who was just released this past Saturday by New York and was signed to the Buccaneers’ Practice Squad), will be that he didn’t face top-caliber (as in the SEC or the PAC-12) Division 1 talent.

I seem to remember the same thing was said about Terron Armstead.

Speaking of Dixon, I've never bought that whole "faced inferior talent" as being a knock on an NFL prospect. Life can get and is pretty complex between high school and graduating college for a kid with physical talent.

Dixon being from SW Missouri State means a hot cup of jack squat. He's on an NFL roster. May get cut tomorrow, but damn it he made it on a playoff-caliber NFL team.

Dixon may be the reason we cut both kickers. The front office may not have wanted to expose him to waivers.

Not sure they were confident with Dimke, and then there's the guaranteed vet thing with Graham...

Then again, Payton may just feel like there are better options available on the FA market; maybe the missed FGs in Seattle are not forgotten in his mind...

We've got two players that could possibly geaux on IR at anytime (i.e. Lorig, Fortt)...
