And just as absurd, one could claim that we just didn't score fast enough. If we had scored 45 seconds faster we probably get the ball back in time to kick a FG and win in regulation.

Atlanta kicked the ball with 4 seconds left, add 45 seconds to that and we'd have a shot at a FG!

and it was from over 50 yards, not a given. We just had a unfortunate mistake at the wrong time that cost us, bad luck.
