We not get our #2 pick back, we will not get Payton back from that lost season, and we will not get our credibility back from those who do not understand that we were made an example of.
Goodell made $44 million last year. He will never want for anything. He will not face criminal charges. He f***** us, but we will never get restitution. I really could not care what happens to him next.
Everything you said is correct and you're a good man for feeling that way.

But I get a certain, smug sense of happiness watching him squirm.

If he would have just manned up and said he screwed up on Rice's suspension the first time and was adding 4 more games to it, everything would've been fine. But he was too arrogant to admit he was wrong. So this is a scandal of his own making.

When he accused the Saints organization of hurting people for money and found them guilty of running a bounty program, he never felt he needed to show any proof.
He named Vilma, Fujita and others by name and said they were evil and that they tried to intentionally injure other men, and we all should just take his word for it.
They vehemently denied the allegations, they even swore under oath they didn't do the things Goodell said they did. They demanded to see his evidence, but he was so arrogant that he told them he didn't have to prove anything to them because he was the commissioner.
A federal judge, who got to see all the evidence called Goodell's case against Vilma "baloney". But he still hid behind the collective bargaining agreement that gave him all the power.
I don't wish any harm to the guy, but I wouldn't be honest if I didn't admit I'm kinda glad that he's being shown as a liar and that he will be remembered that way. I've had a smile on my face for a week now just thinking about it.

I'm guess I'm just kinda petty that way.

Isn't Brooks a public relations strategist for the NFL Commissioner's office...

Understand he gave Goodell a velvet portrait of Bobby McFerrin that sings "Don't Worry, Be Happy" when you pass in front of it...

Ole Rodge was so impressed, he gave him a job...

I agree with most of that, but I do wish Goodell harm. He single-handedly brought harm to all of us as Saints fans with no support whatsoever.

May the Karma Gods bend him over and thrust until they can thrust no more.

Utah & Guido:
I am all for RG getting whatever he deserves; I'm not a turn the other cheek kind of guy either.
My point was that no matter what happens, the Saints will not be made whole for what was taken away 2 years ago, and he will walk away a very rich man

A very rich man with a permanent hemorrhoid condition. I want him scarred for life. He scarred the Saints reputation with his mindless witch hunt. Payback is a *****.

RG is a ***** he needs to be "Bobitized" (John Wayne Bobbit that is)

While I don't feel sorry for Rice he has become the scapegoat. Why is he suspended indefinitely? According to the standards RG developed ( after the criticism of the 2 game suspension) Rice should only be suspended for 6 games.

Once again RG and the NFL show how hypocritical they are.

does this and the open support by Snyder leave any doubt that RG is clearly the owner's boy?
