this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; If Payton gives him the opportunity to play with heavy doses of touches, he better deliver. Or that little plan will go out out the window. I think he can make Sean a believer if he keeps running the ball ...

I think he can make Sean a believer if he keeps running the ball like he has been. Of course maybe Sean just wants to piss him off then put him in the game. Lol. |

Re: Teammates not concerned over Ingram outbursts
Ingram is being poorly used in this scheme. He needs the touches and Payton just isn't going to give them to him. I don't think that Ingram will be back next year regardless of how well he plays. I don't think New Orleans is the right fit for him.
Unfortunately Ingram is not the same person I thought he was at Alabama. He has a thug like mentality. And as I've said a dozen times I like my athletes to be humble like Coloston and Drew. |

Re: Teammates not concerned over Ingram outbursts
I wish he would have gotten more touches along with PT and Robinson, Cadet just don't have it, to predictable when Cadet is in. 3 backs make it a lot less predictable and Payton needs to keep feeding the ball to the hot hand anyway, he is a great coach but sometimes he's to smart for his own good.

I just can't see any back getting the touches they need in a game. It hasn't happened since Deuce

Re: Teammates not concerned over Ingram outbursts
I like passion, I like desire (to do well).
(Now I didn't see the incident however) I do not like "passion"/"desire" if it could be destructive to the bass or the team.Well that would probably be true. |
