Chad Pennington
Watched the Jets madhandle the Colts today and Chad Pennington looked great. He doesn't have a great arm nor does he run real well but he puts very good touch on the football and is very accurate. Heard one of the commentators say that the first trait in a QB should be accuracy, the second should be leadership while the third is toughness. This guy throws as hard as he needs to which doesn't have to be real hard when you move around in the pocket effectively and your very accurate as he is. I watch him and just wonder if Jake could be the same type of QB if given the opportunity. I agree with a earlier post that Jake will probably move to another team and be successful.

As long a Haslett is Head Coach a Pennington or Delhomme Qb will not get the start , Haslett is looking for a different Slash type Qb . I think Haslett is stuck in that Pittsburg Steeler offense mode , funny thing is they got rid of Slash .
