With the way this defense has played I'm not the slightest bit surprised they just allowed the freaking browns to go 14 plays, 85 yards to close out the game and kick a FG. Flat out pathetic job by the defense. We will lose every 1 possession game this year that comes down to our defense on the field. Gonna have to blow teams out or be the team with the ball at the end.

You can't put it all this on the defense. Payton should have kept running the ball. It was working. Instead he got creative.

Browns went 85 yards. We had them at their own 6.

4 things I noticed today.
1) The falcons aren't as good as they looked
2) The Panthers aren't going to be as bad as I thought
3) Our defense looks utterly confused and slow.
4) Sean payton outsmarts himself at times. With the way our running game looked today, no way drew should still have to throw 40 passes

We (me included) thought this team was pretty danged good. 0-2 ain't pretty danged good. Sorry, but we ain't that good.

We play both corners 10+ yards off the line of scrimmage. We don't jam receivers at the line. Byrd lines up way far back. We aren't playing the 3 safety look very much at all.

The defensive scheme is incomprehensible. This is why Rob Ryan got fired in Dallas.
