Re: Looking at next year's draft
If we keep playing like this we may be able to trade down for a ton more picks this year and next. I don't know too much about who's coming out this year but we don't need a QB yet (even if we did, I would jump ship if we drafted a scumbag like Jameis Winston) and I don't think there's a Clowney or someone else that remakes a team.

Re: Looking at next year's draft
This seems to be the same list from last year. We need CB, LB'er and O-line.

Re: Looking at next year's draft
I say we start trading everyone's ass.
Start rebuilding. Work on clearing cap space and unloading to pick up some picks. |

A #2 on a player that can help in the future is not paying dividens now. I wasn't a big fan on this years draft but Sunseri is a bright spot but needs to get more reps. Maybe things will get better the D needs to show alot more than they have. |
Re: Looking at next year's draft
We have drafted CBs just about every year and they don't pan out for whatever reason. I say we do need CBs and Lbers for sure but depending on the draft position we should probably look into drafting a legit 1st round QB. Before people get their panties in a wad THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BREES PERFOMANCE. It is just time to get a young viable replacement to sit behind him for a couple of years when he finally does retire. It also depends on whos available but if we have the chance to get someone that could be a franchise I say go for it.

Re: Looking at next year's draft
ILB is a must...I am tired of watching Lofton and Hawthorne get beat to the corner on run plays, tired of watching them unable to shed one block (sometimes by a TE, RB, or WR...yeah, I saw Hawthorne get stood up by a WR and blocked out of a run play) and watching them look like a pair of morons in the short passing game. TE's are eating our lunch getting 1st downs.
I'm also tired of teams sitting at 2nd and 4 after a first down run or a 3rd and short after a 1st down incompletion followed by a 2nd down run. ILB blitzes suck because these 2 ain't fast enough to get there and/or get off of blocks. Getting stood up by a 2nd or 3rd string RB multiple times on an inside blitz is sickening. Saw that at least twice today. |
Re: Looking at next year's draft
So who are the top 10 picks on the board already?

Re: Looking at next year's draft
Im scared to draft a CB to early. Whoever scouts them needs to go. But agree, ILB and CB above all else.
