Both unnecessary throws by the way ....

That's just Brees on the road. What else is new?

I get where you're coming from, a first there and the game is essentially iced. But as a coach you need to play to the situation. Brees was getting pressured all game and Cleveland knew what was coming. Play it safe, this isn't the Super Bowl where you can have that all or nothing mindset, we need to win games.

Mental.

What cost us both games was 1) Settling for field goals on the road. 2) Abandoning the run.

Every QB in the league would have "throwing issues," if the defense doesn't have to respect the run and can drop everyone into coverage.

I'm not going to try to say that Drew is the Drew of 3-4 years ago but saying he has 'throwing issues' is completely unfair.

No it's fair he's throwing picks almost every game. That's a concern , but hey running the ball protects him and our porous defense

all is to blame, from SP down. we were out coached no line for pass blocking, no d line what so ever PR21 and White are not starters on any team

The pick in the first game was bad. This week, the ball was catchable, especially to JG, and Brees was hit as he threw. Which reminds me of another point: it's also tough to throw when you've got pressure in your face all freakin' day.

We should have been stacking our OL this offseason instead of spending money on defensive pleayers that are apparently on vacation right now.

Fair?

INT against Atlanta was tipped into a defenders hand by Cooks
INT against the Browns was as he was getting hit.

Some people would call at least one of those not his fault and the other understandable.

Giving Ingram the ball doesn't fix a defense that gives up 31.5 points per game. Our offense is averaging 29 points per game and won the time of possession battle in both games. We are in the top 11 in both passing, running, and scoring and all you can find fault with is Ingram not getting the ball enough?

Sorry brother.. I am not buying what you are selling. The defense is the problem.

drew played a good game. Armstead learned a ton from Kruger today also.

look the brownies aint a bad club. they battled in each game last year and was in almost all them to the end. great front 7. excellent OL. add in some some solid depth.

lets be honest. they punched us in the face early and often.
