this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Needs to get at least 20 touches a game. He is running like a man possessed. He needs to be on the field at least 70% of the offensive snaps....

Re: Mark Ingram
We need to be running the ball 35 times a game , how you split that up between our backs is on you , but hint , give more to the Nfls TD leader

Re: Mark Ingram
Coach is going to win or lose his way. Throw it 40+ times a game with multiple lineup changes every play. It doesn't matter that Ingram is beasting or they have to burn timeouts because they can't get the play off. He's just as hard headed as Haslett and Ditka. The difference is he has a QB that bails him out more often than not.

Re: Mark Ingram
Never thought I would say this during the brees error (especially as it relates to Ingram) but our running game should see as many touches as drew. Brady only threw for 149 today and won easily. Romo threw for 179 and one easily. Both had decent defense and great running games. I know our defense isn't where it needs to be but I believe it will improve. If we continue to be drew brees or bust we aren't going anywhere. I think it's time we reign in brees and only unleash him when we need to. Lots of teams are winning with efficient qbs rather than great ones. Drew has been great long enough. I hope the coaches help him out by letting our run game become great to help him and our defense.

Re: Mark Ingram
Ingram finally looks like the player we all hoped we would get when we drafted him.
