How do you expect people not to get frustrated when you give a half assed attempt on game day, give the fans something to cheer for rather than expecting them to cheer for you regardless

good read. some very painful truths I hope our coaching staff is taking note on. I just hope at some point they trash this new nickel look they've been using. Go back to your 3 safety look and ball out. It's just not working.

Jay Bellamy moved to SS and Tebuckey played FS.

do not go there. many fans have stood by this team longer than they have been alive and we will be here long after they are gone.

Yeah it was a complete bust by 4 players.

Out of place, busted assignments. I can agree that this maybe the worse D play in our history.

see i will not go this far. the defense is playing flat and soft.

get a fire in their bellies and put them in peoples faces and they will play better.

If Rob can adjust a few things and take risks with the secondary. he will have to be willing to give up a big play or two. i think that will help. On the plus side if we do give up a few big plays it puts the ball in Drews hands more.

But that is up to Rob. I am not his biggest fan as you all know but

Roll the dice. press coverage for a change and lets see what the football gods reaction will be.

Wow...that last play was amazingly horrid. Plain bad.

And to Junior: You were born in 1988. Some of us have been bleeding black & gold a decade or two before that. We will still bleed it after you leave. Be a freakin' leader, Defensive Captain, and lead that defense. And for goodness sake, do NOT s--t where you eat.

I'm sure Sean Payton will explain how to act like a professional to anyone that doesn't.

In regards to Robinson's comment, I don't condone but understand.

Obviously he isn't talking about most fans but I could surely see him 'keeping it real' with a few fans that comment on SR, NFL.com, ESPN, etc... No one has been talking smack about him, he busts his arse, but I'm sure he has close friends that are taking some heat. He just picked the wrong way to go about defending them.

Here's my question....how did we do so well last year on defense and now lay an egg in the first 2 weeks this year? We even upgraded a couple spots. It makes no sense.

Why not stick with what we were doing last year? Why aren't we going back to what works? None of this makes sense to me.

That's really what I don't understand

We replaced 2 safeties that were ranked near the bottom, with a top 5 safety and Kenny vaccaro

Our pass rush personell stayed the same, the same unit which produced 43 sacks last year, now has 2

I remember reading a cowgirl fans post, I wanna say it was on facebook, responding to an nil.com post about our D. He said RR is notorious for turning a D around and then over complicating it the following year. I didn't think much of the comment, figured just sour grapes but im beginning to wonder. We should have improved with the personnel adds but we are clearly not. Is it scheme? Makes sense.

Secondary unprepared and confused on an obvious pass play. Looks like really bad coaching.

I understand the rumors of making his defense complicated...
But guys are out of position in basic cover 3 shells.
Most of the long third down conversions we have been giving up, and the big plays to the ATL RB's came from underneath routes.
Our LBs just can't run with ANYONE. And by the time our CBs or S's get there, it's too late.
