Pretty sure Godell will be gone in off season between 2014 and 2015 - question is - who will replace him and what precedent will it set?

wait a minute. since when has NFL stadium become private property?

Quick name one team that has been built their own stadium?

All tax dollars. thus it is public.

Tell ya i am waiting for some one to stand up for the rights of the tax payers.

till they take their hands out of our pocket and stop black mailing us every time a toilet needs replacing they have to recognize the rights of the tax payers.

I see nothing lude or rude with the sign.

so IMO that fan just had his freedom of speech right denied to him in a public place.

see it is the passive nature of good people that is abused by the system.

Stadiums are joint ventures because a Team only uses it 8-10 times a year and the municipality can use or lease it out for the rest. On game night it is being leased by the NFL and who ever is paying the rent for the night has control.

Monster Jam, BCS, One Direction $ go to the city or whom ever owns it out right.

There in lies the issue. we are so use to accepting that your basic rights do not apply we surrender them without a second thought. sorry it is unconstitutional to enforce such a policy. no one is willing to challenge it and such is the state of our nation. but this will kill the thread asap .

I fully agree with the notion that we are not granted rights but rather born with a full set and have them slowly stripped away only to have to barter to get them back..

That said, you and I have what rights are left that haven't been unwillingly stripped from our hands... As well as private business owners do. I think at times we all vent in a reactive manor and miss out on the true cause. The NFLPA gave Roger Goodell all of his power through the CBA, just like municipalities give the NFL all of their powers through the lease agreement. Your tax money goes into building a structure owned by your local government and then they decide what power to give to any entity leasing it. If you come barrow my mower hagen and I give you the authority to repaint it, my wife shouldn't be mad at you for it coming back black and flamed. It is so easy and convenient some times to blame the wrong person.

I think anyone getting ejected or singled out for quoting Goodell is absurd and highlights just how petty and inconsistent the league actually is. A guy with a sign quoting Goodell gets harassed but Ross Tucker and many NFL Network personalities can say that Roger Goodell has lost his credibility on air and nothing is done. Know the difference? One generates rating$$$.

I know several years ago I discovered that the Superdome was booked all 365 days out of the year. I was kinda shocked at the time.

I'm sure most stadiums are similar. 10 days of the year it supports the NFL, the other 355 days the City gets revenue from other sources using that dome.

The taxpayer isn't exactly getting ripped off.
