Very clean and honest assessment with out getting caught up in any weeds. For your target audience I would say it is perfect. You identified areas of obvious concern with out assuming you had the obvious answer, which not many of us do, and quite frankly with so much influence coming from other areas that would be difficult to nail down. Pass coverage isn't what we are looking for but neither is pass rush and they can affect each other. I would say if I were not an American football fan and were just a casual watcher from another country, you gave me a feel for the present state of the team, identified what I should look out for, and gave me talking points at the water cooler. I would come back and read your next article. |

Re: Blog
Thanks
I wanted to try and keep it pretty simple to start with ad see if i enjoy it and how it goes. We were just asked for a couple of paragraphs on each question so it would be harder to go into more details in a short article. Im looking forward to giving this a go now as before i was a little unsure as i tend to ramble on if allowed. I have been listening to Jeff Duncans book "Tales from the New Orleans Saints Sideline: A Collection of the Greatest Saints Stories Ever Told" and it is very interesting for a fan that wasn't brought up in the states and is a late comer to the Saints and anymore than a passing interest in NFL. I'd like to cover some stories from the past and look back at some of the glorious and not so glorious history of the team. It will be 5 years since the Superbowl win at the end of this year and if any of you would be happy to relive that night i may put up some questions about what the night was like as a Saints fan. I remember listening to the NFC championship game on BBC radio at work and it was the story of the team that pulled me in as a fan. So while i wanted the Saints to win i wasn't a fan at that point. |
